Cables are one of the outstanding ways of adding decoration to a sweater or cardigan. Cable Craft is divided into two sections.

The first part shows how the basic techniques are done. The second part includes a set of garment patterns that use the techniques.

The patterns are simple to follow and will help build a knitter’s confidence.

The patterns included are a Lace Edged Tunic with small cables on the front near the neckline; a Simple Summer Top which combines lace and cables; and an Aran Style Jumper knitted in tuck stitch with mock cables applied as the garment is knitted.
